Qualification in Forensic Psychology

The Society currently offers the Qualification in Forensic Psychology (Stage 2)

The Qualification consists of two years’ full-time supervised practice (or part-time equivalent) and requires that trainees provide evidence of applying psychology in forensic practice.

If you would like to practise as a Forensic Psychologist in the UK this is one of the main routes.

By taking this route you will be able to apply for Chartered membership of the Society and full membership of the Division of Forensic Psychology.

You will also be eligible to apply for registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Forensic Psychologist.

Only by registering with the HCPC, the statutory regulator, are you able to use the protected title Forensic Psychologist.
