DCP Faculty for Eating Disorder


The Faculty for Eating Disorders is a group for psychologists who are members of the Division of Clinical Psychology and who work in or have an interest or expertise in the field of eating disorders.


The aims of the Faculty are to:

  • Provide professional support, for example, through the Faculty's email discussion list
  • Promote sharing and collaboration
  • Contribute and respond to policy documents
  • Liaise with other bodies, including the Royal College of Psychiatry

Member Annoucement & Discussion list

The Faculty has two email lists, both of which you need to be a member of the Faculty to join:

Discussion List

The e-mail discussion forum helps Members of the Faculty exchange information and seek views of colleagues. It is also a means of alerting members to new policy and guidance and enables coordination of responses to consultation. Faculty events, AGMs, etc are also advertised here.

Announcement List

The e-mail announcement list was set up in 2011 to alert Faculty members to important news and updates.

How to join

You can join the e-mail lists at the same time as taking up membership of the Faculty by completing the relevant area of the application form.

If you are already a member of the Faculty, but have not subscribed to the lists, please send an email to the List Administrator stating your name and membership number, along with details of which list you would like to join.
