Research Seminar Grant  

Applications have closed for 2017, details of the 2018 grant will be released early next year.

Up to Two grants of up to a total of £1,000 are awarded for a one day research seminar focused on understanding psychological processes in any area of health psychology.

Nominations for the DHP research or practitioner awards are now closed, details for next years nominations will be released in March 2018.  


Distinguished Contribution to Health Psychology Research:  This award is aimed at health psychologists and celebrates those who have made unusually significant and sustained contributions to health psychology research.

Early Career Health Psychology Researcher Award: outstanding contribution to health psychology research within the first 10 years of their career.

Distinguished Contribution to Health Psychology in Practice: This award is aimed at psychologists who have made an outstanding contribution to professional practice in the United Kingdom.

Early Career Health Psychology Practitioner Award: outstanding contribution to the development of health psychology practice within the first 10 years of their work as a qualified health psychologist.

Annual Conference Bursaries * Now closed*

Each year we offer a small number of bursaries which cover the conference registration free and contribute towards  travel and accommodation costs.

Deadline: applications have closed for this years bursaries,details of the 2018 bursaries will be available next year.

Public Engagement Grant *Now closed*

One grant of up to £500 can be awarded for a public engagement event aimed at raising the public profile of health psychology amongst those with low prior knowledge of the discipline. It is at the committee's discretion how many grants are awarded and for how much.
