Health Psychology Update (HPU)
Scope of the Journal
Health Psychology Update (HPU) is produced by the Division of Health Psychology (DHP) of the British Psychological Society and is designed to serve as a forum for discussion of issues related to the scientific analysis of psychological processes of health, illness and health care.
Health Psychology Update aims to disseminate information on behalf of the DHP relating to the development of professional skills in research, practice, consultancy and teaching/training and inform members of changes in national and regional practice and policy.
Accessing the Journal
All Members of the DHP receive a copy of Health Psychology Update as one of the benefits of belonging to the Division.
Anyone can purchase copies of Health Psychology Update in pdf format from the BPS Shop for a small fee for each edition (free for DHP Members). Content lists are also available on these pages.
Advertising in HPU
Advertising space is subject to availability and is accepted at the discretion of the editors. Cheques should be made payable to the ‘Division of Health Psychology’ and sent to the BPS Leicester Office (address can be found here). The cost is:
