Board Effectiveness

Overview

The Board Effectiveness group promotes greater understanding and awareness of the psychological evidence as it applies to organisation’s boards and their effectiveness. Our goal is to influence and inform stakeholders, thus increasing the application of psychological insights at the C Suite.

We seek to extend awareness from a simple gender divide in the board room, to instead to examining both under representation both minority group members and women on boards, but also how to develop better skills and competences required by directors. We aim to influence policymakers and practitioners and to provide education, best practice and evidence-based information around responsible governance. Our focus is on the UK and Internationally. We want to highlight the factors that lend towards dysfunctional Boards as well as the factors that make for success.
