Qualitative Methods in Psychology Section

The Qualitative Methods in Psychology Section (QMiP) is for anyone interested in qualitative approaches to psychology and its impact on theory, research and practice.

We support our members by providing training and advice, by holding regular events, and by keeping members up to date with the latest divisional news. QMiP aims to:

  • raise the profile of teaching and research of qualitative methods in psychology.
  • champion and develop qualitative methods in psychology.
  • act as a network of qualified psychologists, extending collaboration possibilities, sharing expertise and offering training opportunities to members.

How to join

Joining QMiP is simple - download and complete an application form. Membership of the Section is open to all BPS members.

Annual subscription is £10 for those in employment and £5 for students and unemployed members.
