We are pleased to announce the 15th annual Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference, an event hosted by Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society Northern Ireland Branch in association with the Division of Health Psychology of the Psychological Society of Ireland. This year the conference will take place in Ulster University, Coleraine Campus on 1st June 2018.

Promoting “the advancement and diffusion of a knowledge of psychology pure and applied” and “the efficiency and usefulness of members” are core to the charitable aims of the Society. Members expect the Society to represent their views and defend their profession. And that means, in part, discussing the distinctive contribution of psychology and psychologists.

Chair of the Education & Public Engagement Board

Nominations are required for the Chair of the Education & Public Engagement Board to serve in office from 2017 to 2019. The person will be appointed a Trustee of the Society and have a seat on the Board of Trustees.

Nominations should reach the Society’s office no later than 5pm on 1 July 2017. Nominations should use a standard nomination form, which gives details of the information and signatories required. A short personal statement will also be required.
