DECP Annual Conference 2019: Responding to children in the 21st century; rights, voices and a sense of belonging

Thursday 10th to Friday 11th January 2018 at the Apex City of Bath Hotel

This conference aims to explore the changing needs of children and young people in the 21st century. There will be a focus on the role of the educational psychologist in ensuring their full inclusion and participation within schools and communities.

The DECP Trainee Educational Psychologists' Conference enabled newly qualified EPs and those in training to disseminate their research findings. The event provides a unique opportunity for trainee EPs to network and to develop their research expertise in a range of methodologies, as well as accessing the evolving evidence base for professional practice.


The format of the GTiCP Conference has undergone a revamp for 2017. Delegates will be able to mix and match their attendance package, with half day pre-conference sessions on Monday 6th November and full conference days on Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th November.

The 2017 Conference theme is “Change and development through involvement”.


This is an annual event offering final year students from across the region an opportunity to present their dissertation findings to other students.
