We are pleased to announce the 15th annual Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference, an event hosted by Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society Northern Ireland Branch in association with the Division of Health Psychology of the Psychological Society of Ireland. This year the conference will take place in Ulster University, Coleraine Campus on 1st June 2018.

The Post-Graduate Workshop

The first DHP-Scotland postgraduate workshop of 2017 titled “Introduction to Behaviour Change Techniques” will take place on Thursday 23rd February before the Annual Scientific Meeting.

The workshop will run from 10am until 12noon at the Scottish Universities Insight Institute, University of Strathclyde, Collins Building, 22 Richmond Street, Glasgow, G1 1XQ.

This week’s blog bisects a busy week for me, with BPS business taking me to Brighton, London, Edinburgh, back to London and Llandudno, and extending from Sunday morning to Saturday afternoon.

My first appointments were at the Liberal Democrat Conference. I believe it is important for us, and indeed our colleagues in the other medical Royal Colleges, to be present at these events, even if little material work is done.

The Division of Health Psychology is a relatively small Division (n=2085) that gives its members excellent value for money in terms of the amount and quality of activities we both engage in, and offer.
